One summer in my early teens, my music theory teacher sent me home with old vinyl records so that I could practice taking musical dictation and show her the results at our next lesson. I've been at it ever since.
Do you want to have sheet music for the latest song you wrote or the horn parts that your friends improvised? Do you need a one- or two-hand piano part for your student's favorite video game theme song? I can create a custom transcription and, with the help of Sibelius music notation software, give you a professional-looking score that meets your specifications. I'm confident that it will be more readable and playable than any midi-generated version you can find online.
Beyond simple student pieces, my arranging specialties are in the realm of sacred music: fresh re-harmonizations of old hymn tunes or modern worship songs; new melodies for old texts; and piano accompaniments for non-improvising worship pianists.
